No, we don't want to get into the tired circular "A had a better decade because it was better in critiera X" vs "No, B did because it had a better criteria Y" argument, 'cause that only leads to flame wars and hurt feelings.
Instead, we're going to leave teams out of it altogether, and ask the experts on this board (meaning everybody) to provide their opinions on the weights for each of 10 criteria. Once we've got a consensus set of weights, we'll let my laptop compare each team's decade to every other team's decade by those criteria, assign the weights, and give us a list of results.
In the form (see link below) you can assign any number from 0 to 999 to each of the criteria. The easiest way to do this is to pick the one you think is most important, give it a relatively high number, then give your 2nd most important a lower number by some percentage (i.e. if you think the most important is twice as important as your second, use something like 999 for the 1st and 500 for the second.)
Zero is allowed, to indicate you don't think that criterion even matters for this discussion.
I'll automatically adjust all inputs so that each input sums to 10000, then take the average value over all inputs for each criterion.
The form is at http://football.kislanko.com/criteria_FCS.html

can't imagine they would be #1 for the decade. But this will be interesting and it should provide good conversation on those long cold winter nights, like the ones we have here in Central Texas.
